Alex Morrison

Alex Morrison is an emerging cinematographer in Humber College's Film and Television Production Program. Specializing in narrative shorts and digital storytelling. From the GTA, Alex's journey in film began with a passion for creating short films and working with friends, now working as a filmmaker and entrepreneur.
As the founder and CEO of Pursuit Media, Alex dedicates her free time to managing and growing her production company and filming for clients. Through Pursuit Media, Alex takes on roles such as Director of Photography, Producing and Editor, working hands-on with clients to bring their vision to life. Her responsibilities include filming on location, strategizing with her team, and delivering polished edits using tools like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
Alex's work spans a range of film projects, including serving as a 1st Camera Assistant on The Runner's digital series, managing production and post-production for short films like Quiet Redemption, and directing original works such as Maternal. Her short film Femme Fatales earned recognition as a Quarter-Finalist at the Serbest International Film Festival (SIFF) and Official Selections at the Lift-Off Global Network events in Toronto and the UK.
With a robust technical skill set and a dedication to innovative storytelling, Alex continues to balance her education, company leadership, and filmmaking pursuits. Whether collaborating with clients or guiding a crew on set, Alex brings creativity and professionalism to every project.
