Sami Hussan

Sami Hussaini is an Ottawa-based creative and second-year Film and Television program
student at Humber College. A passionate cinematographer, Sami has worked on five Humber
projects and three external productions, including contributions to the Canadian Screen Awards.
His commitment to pushing boundaries is evident in every project, with a focus on well-prepared
storytelling through the camera lens. Sami doesn’t side with one film genre but likes all
well-made films, though maybe a cheeky thriller would always be preferred.
Outside of filmmaking, Sami captures the world through photography, enjoys skateboarding, and
supports friends in diverse creative fields. Whether behind the camera or exploring new hobbies
like cooking, Sami remains driven to expand his creative tools
